Online Stopwatch

Count up. No limit.

Use this online stopwatch to time anything without a fixed duration: a workout, a presentation, a sprint, or a focus session. Click start, watch the time tick up, click pause when you are done. The elapsed time stays accurate even if you switch tabs.

When counting up beats counting down

A stopwatch answers a different question than a timer: not "is time up?" but "how long did that take?". Rehearse a presentation and see whether it lands inside the slot. Time your actual work on a task before estimating the next one — most people are off by more than they expect. Track how long a workout circuit, a commute, or a recurring chore really takes, and the honest numbers make planning easier.

Simple by design

Start, pause, resume, reset — controlled by buttons or entirely from the keyboard with the spacebar and R. The elapsed time is computed from your device’s clock rather than a ticking counter, so leaving the tab in the background for an hour does not drift the result.
